Ina-Garten

Ina Gardner is writer of a number of famous American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. It has been running since 2002. Ina began to write policies and nuclear energy papers for the White House. Although she found her job interesting initially, she eventually stopped her pursuit and purchased a small speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. After nearly 18 years of making the business a massive success, she sold it and began creating her first novel. A number of other books and magazine articles followed. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became an instant hit. Additionally, she offers everything from equipment to cooking supplies and containers. Ina is not a student at any cooking school, nor had a job in a restaurant. She has a complete self-taught. Her easy-going approach to entertaining as well as her simple cooking style are well known. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
